The Judge Baker Children's Center provides mental health and special education care for children in Boston. Their new location required a custom mural, interior directional signage, an exterior building sign, and a street monument sign, which were designed to appeal to a broad age range of young children to young adults.

As defined by the interior designer, the conceptual design for the project is nature-driven and utilizes cheerful colors that coordinate with the interior fabrics and finishes. Under the broader theme of community and togetherness, varying sizes of circles were used to depict large, textured leaf forms, representing multiple parts forming a whole.

The Chattahoochee Nature Center is an organization that works to clean up the Chattahoochee river and educate Georgians on its importance. In partnership with the Chattahoochee Nature Center, I designed a series of animal symbols to aid in the visual impact of educational materials used for scholastic programs. The symbols and materials are meant to feel friendly and appealing to young children, encouraging them to build a stronger relationship with their local environment.

Small, medium, and large-scale applications were developed utilizing the symbols to aid in the understanding of each animal's environmental importance. The small-scale application is a set of collectible buttons to remind students what they saw and learned about while visiting the Chattahoochee Nature Center. The medium-scale application is an iSpy card with fun facts to keep students interested and engaged while walking the trail. Lastly, the large-scale trail signage was developed to give information about each animal, such as its diet, lifespan, benefit to humans, as well as their conservation status.
