In my BFA exhibition, I explore the concept of time through textiles. While time the way we know it will always move consistently forward, our relationship with it is forever changing and uncertain. Time is how we feel and how we reflect; it is our point of reference for nearly every decision we make. We often take time for granted, assuming it will act in our favor, but time is not ours to predict. Each sewn thread, woven pick, and screen printed word represent a moment, decision, and feeling; these are all parts that form a whole and tell our story.
time is growth. time is grief. time is resilience. time is a burden. time is a blessing. time will hurt. time will heal. time will go on and on. take your time.
