With walls covered in amber-colored wood, windows abound, and plants adorning tables and floors, mid-century modern interiors have a knack for bringing the beauty of the outdoors to the indoors. Inspired by this idea of a harmonious interior and exterior environment, I created a mini collection in which one pattern was inspired by the ripples and texture of tree bark, and the other from the interaction of light and shadow with botanicals. Attempting to mimic the timelessness and ease of nature, my goal was to create patterns that feel familiar, yet slightly abstract, with geometric and organic qualities.

A rug and carpet collection was created for Bar Marilou, a posh cocktail lounge in New Orleans, self-described as romantic, rebellious, and spirited with easy elegance. The moody and electic decor reflects the city's French roots, surrounding the space in a sumptuous and worldly feeling. The carpet design was inspired by the elaborate wrought-iron that decorates New Orleans, which I abstracted slightly to bring nuance to the interior space. My intention with this carpet and rug design was to enhance pre-existing elements while introducing new textures and motifs.

This Spring apparel collection was created for Mini Boden, a kids brand that aims to "create clothes that bring color to your wardrobe and fun to your life." The patterns coordinate to tell a story of the fun that comes with the changing seasons, such as planting flowers, splashing in puddles, and doing cartwheels in the grass. This collection is meant to feel relatable and light-hearted, ready to wear rain or shine.

Shape Shifters is a Fall 2024 apparel collection created for Target's women's clothing and accesories brand, A New Day. Their aesthetic is identified as "modern classic" while the brand's focus is "building confidence through versatility." With this in mind, the collection focuses on creating prints that are appropriate for a variety of occasions without sacrificing style and individuality. The prints are bold and textural while still feeling approachable and easy to mix and match. The color palette is based on 2024's trending colors, mixing statement and neutral colors to play well into existing workwear wardrobes, while adding an unexpected flare.
